About Noisy Parrot: who writes it, how we check it, how we correct it

Noisy Parrot is a Chinese-language TCG guide site covering online pack sites, buying in person, grading, and price lookups. Every number carries a source and the date we checked it, so you can check it again yourself.

Who writes this

Articles are written and reviewed by the Noisy Parrot editorial desk. There is no personal byline today, so the author in our structured data stays the organisation itself; we will not invent a reporter who does not exist.

Links to Cardz.game carry the Parrot invite code MXQAQ9. Every button that uses it says so on the button.

How we check things

Every shop page and deal page stores two fields in its source file: source_url, the official page we read, and checked_at, the day we read it. The date shown on the page is that day, not the publication date.

Terms, shipping, and prices are copied from the official page rather than written from memory. If the official page changes before we re-check it, the old checked date stays on our page so you can judge how fresh it is.

Evidence links point at web.archive.org snapshots where possible, so they still open after the official page is redesigned.

How we correct mistakes

If a number is wrong, a link is dead, or a shop has closed, tell us in the Telegram group; quoting the sentence is the fastest way.

Once we confirm it we change the page and update its checked date. Anything larger than a typo is described in the article itself.

When we cannot confirm something we say it is still unverified rather than filling in a number.
