Pokémon TCG is a two-player card game. Most beginners start with a ready-to-play deck or a current booster, then learn card numbers before shopping.

Use the official Traditional Chinese card search (checked 2026-08-31) to lock series + number. Japanese, English, and Chinese printings are not the same SKU.

First buys: (1) beginner / ex decks, (2) current-set boosters, (3) singles after you lock a list. HK shops: shop guide and shop table. Online: online pulls.
