Find Weiss Schwarz in Akihabara first, and ask before you travel in Hong Kong

Last updated

Weiss Schwarz is easy to find in Akihabara and unevenly stocked in Hong Kong, so ask a Hong Kong shop before you make the trip.

Key points

  • Weiss Schwarz is common on Akihabara shelves in Japan.
  • Hong Kong stock is uneven, so ask the shop first.
  • Weiss Schwarz does not share Pokémon collector numbers.

Shops

Hong Kong: Mong Kok and Tin Yuet, though stock is uneven. Japan: the verified shop table (Japanese), and Akihabara (Japanese) in particular.

FAQ

Why does Hong Kong stock vary so much?

Coverage is uneven across shops, so one counter may carry the line and the next may not. Message ahead with the set you want instead of walking in blind.

Where in Japan is it reliable?

Akihabara. Our Akihabara guide explains how that street is organised, and the shop table (Japanese) lists the addresses.

What should I ask for at the counter?

The set and the card number, plus the language. A series name on its own often leads to the wrong print.

Next steps

Check the print on CardZ Marketcap before you agree to a price. If no shop near you carries the set, open packs on Cardz.game.
