Start your Yu-Gi-Oh shop run at Sino Centre in Mong Kok
If you have one afternoon in Hong Kong, start at Sino Centre in Mong Kok, because Yu-Gi-Oh singles move fastest there.
Key points
- Mong Kok is the first stop, and two or three shops is enough.
- Ask by card number, since many shops also sell Pokémon and ONE PIECE.
- Quotes are in HKD, so convert after you write them down.
Many shops also sell Pokémon and ONE PIECE, so ask by card number rather than by the English or Chinese name alone. Quotes are in HKD, and you should convert to your home currency only after the numbers are written down.
Japan is a different trip. The verified shop pages here mostly list Pokéka. You can ask at the counter in Akihabara, but the Yu-Gi-Oh × Akihabara (Cantonese) page does not confirm stock. Use all Akihabara shops (Japanese) as a street map rather than an inventory list.
Mong Kok
Two or three shops in one day is enough. See the Mong Kok list (Cantonese). Sino Centre, President Commercial Centre, and the Nathan Road street shops sit on different floors, so send the card number over WhatsApp or Instagram before you climb.
The full shop index is Yu-Gi-Oh shops (Cantonese), and the method is on buy Yu-Gi-Oh in HK (Cantonese).
Tin Yuet, Cheung Sha Wan
The same building cluster also sells PTCG and ONE PIECE. See Tin Yuet Plaza (Cantonese) and the Cheung Sha Wan district page (Cantonese). A shop on the Classic list is not a promise of Yu-Gi-Oh boxes, so ask at the counter.
New Territories if you are already there
Tsuen Wan (Cantonese) has General Card Shop (Cantonese), still on the WeWa partner list on 2026-08-31. WeWa is a Hong Kong credit card rebate, so a foreign card does not earn it. Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi are only worth a detour if you are already west.
How to compare
- Lock the print on Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron. The page has Card Search, Deck Search, and the Forbidden & Limited List, and the card-text update log runs to 2026-07-03 (
Theorealize Past Lull). - Price the same card at two Mong Kok shops, then add the MTR fare in HKD.
- Remember that industrial-building shops need a doorbell and a floor number.
- If you want an online pack instead, check today’s catalog on Yu-Gi-Oh online pull.
FAQ
Where should I start in Hong Kong?
Sino Centre in Mong Kok. Yu-Gi-Oh singles move fastest there, and two or three shops in a day is enough to see the spread in quotes.
How should I ask for a card?
By card number. Many shops carry Pokémon and ONE PIECE as well, and an English or Chinese card name on its own will not pin down the print you want.
Can I rely on these pages for Japanese stock?
No. The verified shop pages here mostly list Pokéka, and the Yu-Gi-Oh Akihabara page does not confirm stock. Treat the Akihabara list as a street map.
Does the WeWa rebate work with my overseas card?
No. WeWa is a Hong Kong credit card rebate, so a foreign card does not earn it. General Card Shop in Tsuen Wan was still on the partner list on 2026-08-31.
