Submit to PSA from Asia: Value is paused, Regular is US$79.99, pick a door that is actually open

The cheapest PSA tier you can actually use from Asia on 2026-09-01 is Regular at US$79.99, because every Value tier stopped taking new orders on 2026-06-02.

What is open, and when the clock starts

Regular is the cheapest open US tier on 2026-09-01. It insures up to US$1,500 and estimates 70 to 80 business days. Those days begin when the order is scanned into PSA’s system. They do not begin on the day you hand a card to a shop.

Customers outside the United States who mail the US Online Submission Center are still treated as paused, per the 2025-04-03 tariff note. No later article announcing a reopening was found. Bandai TCG+ is not a drop-off point.

Compare companies on which grader first. Look up the printing with the PSA 10 lookup, then open the regional page for your address: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau. Those deal pages are written in Cantonese. This page does not repeat the CGC or BGS walkthrough.

Still open on the grading page, checked 2026-09-01: Regular $79.99 in 70–80 days, Express $149 in 20–30, Super Express $349 in 10–15, and Walk-Through $599 in 7–10. Dual service, meaning card plus autograph, is $104.99 at Regular in 80–90 days.

If fair market value clears the tier’s maximum insured value, PSA can raise the charge. Refuse the upcharge and the card can come back ungraded with freight on you, under the published terms.

Four doors

Hong Kong. Either book the PSA Hong Kong Submission Center in Tsim Sha Tsui, which takes appointments Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, or use a shop table that still matches live PSA tiers. HobbyX lists Regular at HK$900 or HK$1,080 in 70–80 days, with Value marked cancelled. Appaw with 138 Arena lists Regular at HK$790 in 70–80 days, face to face only. WeWa does not run a PSA drop-off.

Taiwan. Local shops quote all-in prices. One Paper showed PSA Japan Regular at NT$2,600 and PSA US Regular at NT$2,680 on 2026-09-01. Ysponder stopped taking BGS and PSA work because of US tariffs, last read 2026-08-31. Xiaoyang Card Club (小羊卡牌社, Ximending) is not a submit shop. Accounts were wiped on 2026-08-03, the owner was reported to have fled, and PSA proxy work appears in the victim list. The case page is written in Cantonese. A storefront and a 5,000-person LINE group are not insurance.

Japan. Official intake is residents only. The yen table last read on 2026-08-31 shows Regular at ¥11,980 including tax, 60 business days, declared value up to ¥250,000, plus insurance and return postage on the ja-JP services page. That page was Cloudflare-blocked on 2026-09-01. Lounge Tokyo needs a Japanese address and phone number. There is no published overseas-into-Japan submit product, and no official Bandai submit program.

Mainland China. The path comes from a dealer-forwarded notice: the Shanghai office resumed routine intake on 2025-11-24, through authorized dealers only. No new RMB fee table was found on 2026-09-01, and company pages were last confirmed empty on 2026-08-31. The APAC article body excludes China from the Hong Kong center, while the FAQ lists China. Do not tell anyone they can self-mail PSA Hong Kong.

The chain

  1. Match the printing on CardZ Marketcap.
  2. Pick an open tier, and note its insured cap.
  3. Pick a door that is actually open for your address.
  4. Photograph the cards, list them, set a declared value, and ask how an upcharge is billed.
  5. Count the wait from “entered in system,” then add the shop’s own batch gap.
  6. Pay the published remainder formula, or use the shop’s written abandon rule.
  7. Look the slab up again when it returns.

Public Facebook groups in Hong Kong are mostly shop batch posts: a cutoff date, a drop at the counter, an email after ship-out. Forum numbers from 2025 Value-era threads are not a current price list.

FAQ

Is Value coming back?

Not on the live pricing page as of 2026-09-01, and no reopen date has been published. Plan around Regular at US$79.99 until PSA says otherwise.

Can I mail Santa Ana from Taipei or Hong Kong?

Treat that route as paused until PSA publishes a restore note. The 2025 tariff article is still the standing guidance for non-US customers.

Does a PSA 10 pay for the fee?

Only if the raw-to-10 spread still covers your all-in quote after allowing for a miss. Check the POP and the date on the Marketcap row before you commit.

Why is my wait longer than 70–80 business days?

The published estimate starts when PSA scans the order into its system. A shop batch adds its own gap before that scan, and that gap is not part of PSA’s number.
